However, the police were able to apprehend many of the attackers when they attempted to throw petrol bombs at them. During a subsequent search of the area, rifles were found in Zamaan Park.
The police have named 102 individuals in the First Information Report (FIR) filed in relation to the incident. The police also claim that the unknown attackers set fire to an Elite Force vehicle.
